History and Geography

Historical and geographical skills are taught through a topic based curriculum.

The local environment and local evidence are used as starting points for our topics, especially with the younger children.

Early Years explore Topic through understanding of the world, talking about the lives around them and understand the past through storytelling and the natural world.

Work for the older children includes extending their knowledge beyond their immediate environment, through comparison on a national and international scale.
