RSHE/PSHE
Relationships, Sex and Health Education is a statutory subject that is taught alongside PSHE (Personal Social and Health Education). RSHE and PSHE are taught through our Paths programme. The PATHS® Programme is designed to facilitate the development of self-control, emotional awareness and interpersonal problem-solving skills. Thus supporting and preparing our pupils for life in a diverse Modern Britain. As a school we have mapped out the 13 RSHE strands and identified where they are already covered and integrated in our current curriculum. The Sex education strand will be covered through our Science Curriculum in the Summer Term - see our RSHE policy for further information.
We also cover this through our daily assemblies to promote healthy relationships at home and at school.
